EMILY FERNANDEZ (Dance Director) is a 23-year-old newlywed residing in Gilroy, CA. She is a graduate from San Francisco State University, with her degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in elementary education. Emily plans to return to school to get her master’s degree and teaching credential in hopes of becoming an elementary school teacher. Emily first found her passion for performing at age 10, where she performed in her first show with John Bisceglie, “Forever Broadway”. After performing in numerous productions as a dancer and actress, she was thrilled when Bisceglie asked her to student choreograph. Emily has been assisting with choreography, later becoming dance director, with GCMT since age 16. She was so excited to take the trip to San Francisco to help start SFCMT, and then to San Jose to start SBCMT. Emily’s true passion is working with children and helping them discover their creative side! Outside the GCMT/SBCMT/SFCMT world Emily is also a nanny. She loves to mountain bike and take adventures with her husband. As a former GCMT participant, Emily loves giving the families and children the same experience that helped change her life!
